Registration for Global Event Now Open to All Young People, Adult Leaders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Jan. 13, 2014 /GBOD/ – Registration for the Global Young People’s Convocation and Legislative Assembly this summer in Tagaytay, Philippines, is now open to all young people and adult leaders.

The quadrennial convocation and legislative assembly, organized by the General Board of Discipleship’s Young People’s Ministries, is a place where UMC young people from around the world worship, pray and work together. It is scheduled for July 16-20.

Prior to last Saturday, registration was open only for elected delegates, but limited space is now available for young people and their leaders wanting to attend the proceedings and experience the event as non-voting delegates.
